How to Use It

On windows and mirrors 

• Use up to a 1:100 dilution.
• Spray it onto windows and mirrors liberally.
• Allow it to sit for 1-2 minutes, especially if bugs are present on the glass. 
• Use a clean microfiber cloth to wipe away the cleaner. Do not use a cloth that has been used elsewhere to avoid spreading grease and soil.
• Multiple applications of Release may be necessary, particularly if the glass is very dirty. 
• Once you’ve removed the dirt/dust/soil/grease, wipe down one more time with a clean cloth to completely dry and remove any residue. 

On wheels and rims

• Use a 1:20 dilution
• Spray on Release cleaner and allow it to sit for approximately 2-3 minutes. 
• For particularly heavy deposits of grease, grime, oil, or brake dust, agitate with a brush or sponge may be necessary to loosen the dirt. 
• Wipe off the bulk of the dust with a clean cloth that has not been used elsewhere. 
• Reapply Release cleaner in a 1:40 dilution. 
• Wipe off the cleaner and dust with another clean rag.
• Once you’ve cleaned the wheels and rims, wipe down once more with a clean cloth to completely dry and remove any residue. 

Interior cleaning 

• For leather, cloth, floor mats and trim, use a concentration of between 1:20 and 1:100 depending on the soil composition and how heavy the soil is.
• Spray Release on the surface and allow it to sit for 30 seconds.
• Use a clean damp cloth to wipe away soils. For ridged or textured surfaces, agitate the surface lightly with a brush to help loosen soils.
• For vehicle upholstery, apply in a concentration of 1:20.
• Spray the upholstery to soak it, then let it soak for 2-3 minutes. 
• Agitate the surface with a brush if necessary to loosen soil.
• Use a clean wet towel to soak up the soil, then put into a bucket with fresh water and  ring it out: repeat until all the solid is extracted then follow up with a dry towel to absorb the remainder of the water.
• Another option is to use fresh water to mix with the soil and use an extractor to remove the soil and excess water from the upholstery.
• Allow the surface to dry before use.
