One of the biggest updates to Construction training came through Sailing. Repair kits and hull parts offer some of RuneScape gold the longest AFK periods the skill has ever seen.
Repair kits are especially attractive for players who dislike the constant clicking required in player-owned houses. At higher levels, mahogany repair kits can provide around 250,000 XP per hour with 28-second AFK intervals, which is extremely relaxed compared to traditional Construction methods.
Hull parts offer a faster experience but become increasingly expensive at higher tiers. Ironwood and rosewood variants are generally considered inefficient due to their massive costs. For most players, mahogany repair kits strike the best balance between speed, cost, and AFK gameplay.
An additional bonus is that many repair kits remain profitable through High Alchemy, helping stabilize their overall cost.
Fastest Traditional Construction Methods
Traditional Construction remains king for players chasing maximum XP rates.
At level 33, players unlock oak larders, which are the first major training method. These are built and removed repeatedly inside the kitchen of a player-owned house. Initially, players manually unnote planks at Phials in Rimmington, but once level 40 Construction is reached, the human butler becomes available.
At level 50, players can hire the faster demon butler, significantly increasing XP rates by automatically fetching planks from cheap RS gold the bank.
